9 Things That Will Affect Your Sexuality

We know this exercise. You came home late to cook dinner after a long day, and then basically melted in bed. Of course, I hope your spouse has other plans. When most of us are dismissive of stress and fatigue, there are other reasons why we may not be so excited to start working tonight. Sometimes it’s normal to be in no mood(I mean, sometimes we just want to sleep!); but when it continues to happen, something deeper may happen.

Low sexual desire is really a bad thing, but most of us will experience it. We investigated all the reasons why you don’t like what you do in the bedroom, except sleeping without giving yourself more pressure.

1. Stress

We all know how it feels to go home with a to-do list. Whether it’s work, school or personal pressure, it will make you easily enter the brain and prevent you from spending time with your spouse.

Use one of these methods to reduce daily stress. So you and your spouse can get back on track. In daily life, if you feel that your management is increasing or hot, you can give yourself time. We guarantee that you will feel new.

2. Some drugs

Antidepressants, some antianxiety drugs and blood pressure drugs can all cause side effects of low sexual desire. If you have recently started taking new drugs, please review the list of side effects given to you by the pharmacist(you may want to throw it away or re emphasize it). If you think it will affect your life or relationships, you can talk about choices that are different from your wishes.

3. Pregnancy or lactation

Pregnancy and breastfeeding can lead to many changes in the body. Your hormonal exuberance will cause sexual desire to fluctuate. Maybe one day you want to be like a rabbit, but another day you are not interested at all. You know, this is just a change in your body, and it won’t last forever.

Not only your hormones, but other side effects of pregnancy can also keep you away from sex. The nausea and fatigue of the first three months will only make sex uncomfortable. Who wants to have sex when sick!? Then with the growth and change of the body(Sobbing! Baby!), The traditional sexual posture can make people feel awkward, and women sometimes feel uneasy about their pregnant bodies. Be kind to yourself, and you will soon give birth to another person in this world!

4. Insufficient sleep

In addition to pressure, we fully understand. Whether you had to submit a work report at 8:00 in the morning, had a terrible dream(I read too much AHS), or stayed up late to read(# guilt), you didn’t finish 8 hours of work last night. No problem! If you continue to give up sleep, you will begin to notice a continuous decline in sexual desire.

Add lavender oil to your diffuser. Turn off your electronic equipment one hour before going to bed, or our personal favorite is to give ourselves a good Saturday morning and let ourselves sleep until noon.

5. Negative body image

It is difficult for others to see nudity when they are uncomfortable or unacceptable. The constant fear and self-awareness of having sex is enough to stop you from having sex. Buying a new set of yoga, meditation or cute underwear is a way to start gaining a little confidence.(Maybe you will feel a little sexy!)

6. Mental health problems

If you are struggling with depression or anxiety, including seasonal affective disorder, you may have a great impact on sexual desire. This may be related to medication, trust, anxiety and concern about partners. Mental illness can affect sexual needs, so we will contact doctors to discuss how to recover or easily shape ourselves.

7. Relationship issues

You may feel that you and your spouse have quarreled recently, or you cannot trust him or her. You and your spouse may encounter many different problems. These problems will reduce your sexual desire. If you encounter conflict, please be frank with your partners. The conflict may be stressful at the beginning and difficult to deal with, but after the conflict, I will be grateful and be closer to my partners than ever.

8. Conditions that make sex painful

Vulvar pain and endometriosis are believed to induce painful sexual behavior, which really makes you excited to go to bed? If you have this disease, please talk to your doctor about the treatment. You can also discuss other positions with your partner that can reduce or avoid pain. You should be in a good mood during sex, and you should not be uncomfortable.

9. Family planning

Contraceptives can sometimes lower your hormones, such as testosterone, and make you want to have sex. Fortunately, there are other options, such as non hormonal IUDs, condoms, diaphragms. You can also discuss trying or choosing other contraceptives, such as doctors and NuvaRing.
